FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Why Don’t We List Prices for Custom Cakes?
Every custom cake created at Talent 2 Design is uniquely designed for each client. Because no two cakes are the same, pricing varies based on size, number of servings, and design complexity.
We are happy to provide a personalized quote during an online consultation. During this process, we will gather key details such as your event date, approximate servings required, and any design inspiration you may have. You are welcome to send inspiration photos — while we do not copy another artist’s work, these images help us understand your vision so we can create a one-of-a-kind piece of edible art.
How Much Notice Is Required for a Custom Order?
Each creation is handcrafted by our award-winning professional artist, and our schedule fills very quickly. To secure your date and avoid disappointment, we recommend inquiring and booking as soon as your event date is known.
We require a minimum of 7 days’ notice for all custom items — including cakes, cookies, and cupcakes — pending availability. During peak seasons, additional notice may be required.
Is There a Minimum Order for Custom Cookies or Cupcakes?
Yes. All custom cookies and custom cupcakes require a minimum order of one dozen (12) per flavour or design style.
How Do I Place an Order?
You can place orders directly through our e-commerce website. Quote requests and online consultation bookings may also be submitted through the site.
Every order receives an official Talent 2 Design confirmation, ensuring your details are accurate and your order is successfully placed.
Do You Offer Vegan Options?
Yes. Talent 2 Design is pleased to offer a selection of vegan items upon request.
Do You Offer Gluten-Free Options?
Yes, we offer gluten-free friendly cakes, cupcakes, and cookies.
Please note that while these items are made with gluten-free ingredients, our facility is not a certified gluten-free environment.
Are You a Nut-Free Facility?
No. Talent 2 Design is not a nut-free facility.
However, we do offer products that do not contain nuts, and these are prepared following the safety guidelines established by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency to help minimize risk.
