Been far too long
its been far too long since Ive taken the time to update this website. Ive allocated this time, the start of AUG 2025 to re brand the website. My business will be facing major changes come this fall. Announcement to follow in September. Very excited to share.
For now lets go back a bit. When I see people, I am always asked HOW am I feeling. My immediate response will always be, Im OK, or Im GOOD. even during my hardest days, even if I just finished crying, wiped my tears and splashed cold water on my face to ensure my red eyes went away. I refuse to be a burden to others. There is not a day that goes by that I do not ache in pain and wish to wake up and not be in pain. However it has become evident that this is my normal.
I now go every Monday to get pain treatment which is on averge 12-16 needles of nerve block medication injected from my skull and along my spine. In addition I am on hand fulls of pain medication for long acting pain reduction, nerve pain reduction , meds for seizures and migraines.. In the last 6 months I have been on this new once a month injection. Called Ajovy. its the ONLY medication that has been developed for those with severe migraines. Other medications have been created and they learned they help headaces such as tylenol, it was not developed for just headaches, the labs learned in there trials it was a side effect. Awesome right !!
The “goblin” as I cal it. My infiltrative tumor is “stable” in drs terms. It is progressing as expected. This particular tumor has no set time line, so w just watch it for now. And deal with the other side effects as they present themselves.
My right leg has been giving me some issues, and I noticed it swollen and color changes. With very high rish for blood clots, brought this to drs attention ; and within the week was in for an MRI which then required a specialo venus ultrasound folowed by an artery ultrasound, as the dr suspected I needed to see a surgeon. I am booked for a surgery asap to remove a number of veins. And do some other vascuar things to help the circuolation. In them mean time I am stlyin these fancy toeless compression stockings!!! yup its the hottest days of summer im in shorts and COMPRESSION STOCKINGS to my knees…. not only am i sooooo stylin i am roasting !!!! LOL
There was also some major thing found on my back MRI which are not related to my cancer. Related to the MVA I was in years ago and aggravated by the one most recently, requiring a device to be surgically implanted to assist with daily pain control.
The store as many have noticed is not open as much as it was. However we can be found at 4 markets a week. Across Niagara. Wainfleet, Sherkston and St. Catharines. custom Orders are all being completed with pick upd by appoitment.
